Our First Event- EcoFest!
We had such a fantastic time at EcoFest in Lutz with Learning Gate Community School! It was a day full of creativity, community, and good vibes — and I’m so grateful we got to be part of it.
One of the best parts was working with a wonderful group of kids. We brought along supplies and spent the afternoon painting rocks — and let me tell you, these kids really brought their A-game!
We painted rocks for all kinds of reasons: to add to our gardens, decorate desks, brighten up homes, or just serve as little reminders of positivity and encouragement. Some had names on them, others featured motivational words like “hope,” “dream,” and “believe,” and some were just abstract or realistic designs — all full of personality and imagination.
Watching the kids express themselves through their art was so inspiring. Whether they created detailed, realistic designs or freeform abstract pieces, each rock was a little piece of their creativity and spirit. It was such a joy to see their faces light up when they finished their masterpieces.
These painted rocks aren’t just pretty decorations — they’re symbols of hope, resilience, and community. They remind us that even small acts, like painting a rock, can bring so much joy and encouragement to ourselves and others.
A huge thank you to Learning Gate Community School for inviting us to be part of EcoFest. We loved connecting with these bright, talented kids and sharing a little bit of magic with them.
We can’t wait to see how these rocks find their way into gardens, desks, and homes — spreading positivity everywhere they go!
Thanks for following along on our journey of community and creativity. Stay tuned for more adventures with the Small Magic Foundation!
